so heres a little bit about us.
Hi im Char the front lassey behind Berrycutecrafts, i started this business in july 2022 as i was a new mum with alot of time at home due to illness and also mental health issues, ive always been pretty crafty but i wanted to put my skills into use and thus, Berrycutecraftsbarnsley was born, i have this little crafting buisness with my Mother Caroline she makes Bags and Crochet plushies and My Nan who makes Knitted creations.
My mum is ill and unable to work a normal job because she ended up with a frozen shoulder through her work over 4 years ago, and has limited mobility in her arm now, she Crochet and crafts in her spare time as enjoyment.
My Nan had a stroke back in May 2021 and she doesnt leave the house anymore, thankfully the stroke didnt do damage (that we know of) but shes 83 and doesnt like to leave the house, she likes to knit shes made knits for hospitals before and knits for children in africa. she likes to make little animals that make kids smile.
And recently weve gained a new member to the team, Scar shes 11 and loves making jewellery and crafting with us all in her free time outside of school hours.shes joined the team to sell her own creations and make a little bit of pocket money.
